Innovative Futurecraft technology hits the high-fashion Y-3 line for this adidas Y-3 Runner 4D “Red.” Yohji Yamamoto’s high-end imprint of adidas takes advantage of the brand’s groundbreaking 3D-printing technology and Digital Light Synthesis, a process that utilizes light and oxygen, to create the Y-3 Runner's intricate midsole. The Y-3 Runner 4D features a sleek Primeknit upper with a unique lacing system and contrasting 3-Stripe branding on the top of the shoe in white. Yohji Yamamoto’s signature is embroidered below the stripes, while additional white detailing wraps around the elastic collar. Perforated suede panelling is also included at the midfoot, in a light green shade that matches the signature hue of the 4D sole unit. The limited-edition adidas Y-3 Runner 4D “Red” released in January 2019.
