Air Max Triax 96 "Doernbecher 2019" sneakers
These Air Max Triax 96 are part of the Nike Doernbecher Freestyle 2019 collection. In celebration of Bransen Fernando’s successful kidney transplant, this sneaker was designed by himself. It features many different details throughout, including the Snoopy to honour his donor, a bumblebee nodding to his siblings whose names all start with 'B' and a donkey as this is his nurse’s favourite animal. Also, the date of his surgery appears upon the tongues, followed by kidney patterns applied to the sock liners and the word 'Boom' on the outsole inspired by the nickname his mother gave him.
